Chap 1 - The Start

Carmen put her favorite paintbrush lightly on her lap. The green field she painted on her block pulled her in. She breathed in the humid air Seoul air, the pouted as she was jerked back to reality.

Heavy footsteps sounded the once empty hallway.

Li Jaeun broke the lock on the art room door with a wide grin on her face that seemed to be killing her. She took a deep breath then screamed.

" He's here! The Student Council President is here!!"

Carmen sighed, then feigned ignorance by turning back to her artwork.

Jaeun fumed, stomped over, and pulled Carmen up by the arm. She glared at her for 3 seconds as something changed in her eyes.

" You're coming." she asked, although it sound more like a command " won't you?"

Carmen thought about the consequences she would have to face is she refused.

Jaeun looked at her in anticipation.

Carmen finally nodded, then shook Jaeun's arm off.

"I'll go by myself"

"PARK KANG MIN!"

The noise made his ear itch. He looked at the cramped hallway that he would have to go through.

'This is gonna be something' he thought.

Just then, a girl fell down in front of him. She muttered what seemed to be curses then stood up, as if even being there was a pain.

As soon as she got up, she saw the only all-famous Park Kang Min in front of her.

The crowd silenced.

Carmen felt bile rise up her throat with embarrassment. "Um.. I, uh... Y-You know.." she mumbled to herself, then looked at him in the eye.

He snickered, annoyed at the current situation.

"hey," he hollered. "If you have nothing to say," he leant closer " then don't start."

He flicked his bangs to the side, earning himself a loud squeal from the girls at the sidelines.

Carmen rolled her eyes. She hesitated, but caught the man's wrist just before he could leave the place.

She stepped close to him. Close enough to whisper into his ear.

"Meet me at the rooftop at 2," she said "and don't be late."

She quickly spun around and walked back to the room she felt best at ease. The Art room.

Because from now on, her job is done.

Jirou, Treasurer of the Student Council crept up to Kang Min.

"Who's that? You know her?" he asked chirp-fully.

Kang Min shook his head " No."

Jirou grinned " She's quite the beauty."

Shizuka, Vice President of the Student Council smacked Jirou's head.

"Onii-chan stop fooling around. Sometimes I don't even know if you've got a brain in there."

Jirou cracked up " Dude, I may not have the best brains, but I've got the hottest look of the century!" he boasted.

Kang Min slid his hands in his pockets and strutted off by himself.

"Hey!! Kang Min! Wait for me!!" Jirou ran after him.

Shizuka took her glasses off as she stared at the girl who just appeared without any notice.

'Time for an investigation' she thought.

PROLOGUE

For me, everything would mean nothing if I could not find a place in this world. A permanent place where I could stay and be happy.

Just a few months ago, I had just given up on the one person who I'd thought was my world. Because the truth was that I have never really known her true self. Plus, I had never really fully trusted her.

I don't really blame her for anything. The only person to be blamed is me. For misleading her. And more so, myself.

So I've been alone ever since. Truth to be said, it isn't so bad to have a little peace and quiet. But you get lonely after a while, and that just really sucks. Because you won't have anyone to run to for company.

Anyway, I think I've skipped the introduction. My name is Carmen. Carmen Ho. I've lived only 16 years of my life. But I doubt that, since nothing seems to be going my way. I'm an Arts student.

I call it my escape. Painting takes my mind away.

I find myself drifting off to the world I painted on the paper itself. I guess you could say that it is my hobby. I've never intended to make it my profession. And I probably never will. But I've never really been good at anything else.

So this was my only choice.

Character Intro

Carmen Ho - A shy and mysterious talented Art student in K-ozen campus. Raised in solitary and loneliness, she learns to be quiet when there's not a need for conversations and obedient to orders. Innocent and secretive. She has brown hair, black eyes and fair porcelain skin.

Park Kang Min - A popular, hot, lazy, sporty and carefree genius playboy. Head of the Student Council and top of the Top 10 Hotties in K-ozen campus. Known for his looks, brains and brawns. Will-driven and oblivious to most urgent situations. Has black hair and brown eyes.

Shizuka Lee MiYoung - A studious, hardworking and diligent Science student. Attends to social affairs in K-ozen campus as Vice President of The Student Council. Sister of Jirou Lee YuJin. Tall, graceful and has brown eyes and hair.

Jirou Lee YuJin - A cheerful, hardworking and humorous student in K-ozen campus. Tends to financial affairs of the campus as secretary of the Student Council. Ranks second in the Top 10 Hotties in K-ozen campus. Has dyed brown hair and dark brown eyes.

Li Jaeun - A beautiful and determined Business Studies student in K-ozen campus. Tops the list of Top 5 Hot Chicks and is the Badass Queenka in campus. Stubborn and prideful. Takes interest in harassing Carmen. Remorseless of her actions. Long, straight and perfect silky hair. Penetrating black eyes.

Rick ?? - A mysterious and intelligent loner in campus. Favored by teachers and some girls are attracted to his cool personality. Has a shrouded past he has never told anyone. Eldest in the Council, serves as a member. Tall, lean, and strong with a brown left eye and green right eye and brownish-red hair.
